The 2008 Ride Across Maryland raised a grand total of $225,000 in the fight against breast cancer. 
RAM has contributed close to $1.5 million dollars to Komen Maryland in the past 8 years and is the charter member of our Million dollar Club! Thanks to all the volunteers, staff, participants and especially the entertainers who made this such a successful and enjoyable weekend. See you in 2009!

Komen Maryland License Plates are now available for purchase. They look great and half of the $50 cost from each set of plates goes directly to Komen Maryland!

Grants

• Komen Maryland is pleased to announce its request for proposals for the 2009-2010 grant cycle. Grants will be made to support efforts to reduce breast cancer disparities across Maryland.

Education

• In our Education pages you can find our Updated Resource Guide for Breast Health and Healing which contains resources for the state of Maryland and for individual Maryland counties. You can also find our online Breast Self Exam tool.
• Komen has released a first-ever State of Breast Cancer report outlining progress that has been made and remaining challenges in the fight against breast cancer. This is an understandable and up-to-date overview on the status of breast cancer in the world.
