The Blood and Guts Run - Wildest 5k Zombie Obstacle Course (www.bloodandgutsrun.com)will take place on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at Bull Run Special Events Center in Centreville, Virginia 20121. The run is designed for all ages and ability levels. Participants will receive a finisher medal and a custom-made Blood and Guts Run t-shirt.

Capitol Clothing Recycling: Now you can donate your clothes to help breast cancer survivors in Maryland. Look for the Clothing for the Cure logo on specially marked parking lot bins throughout the region. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of clothing donated will be contributed to Komen Maryland. A minimum of $10,000 will be donated to Komen Maryland each year through this program. Drive 2 Thrive: On October 4, 2014, enjoy a New York Runway Show in Baltimore at the 5th Annual Drive 2 Thrive Fashion Benefit for Komen Maryland. The night includes cocktails, awards, and a luxury fashion show at the Atrium in the Port Discovery Museum. For more details, visit their website.
