Capitol Clothing Recycling: Now you can donate your clothes to help breast cancer survivors in Maryland. Look for the Clothing for the Cure logo on specially marked parking lot bins throughout the region. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of clothing donated will be contributed to Komen Maryland. A minimum of $10,000 will be donated to Komen Maryland each year through this program. Pink for the Cure
Chesapeake Salons, located at 8000 Jumpershole Road in Pasadena, will be adding pink strips or pink extensions to hair to bring awareness to breast cancer during the entire month of October. The service is $25 and 70% will be donated directly to Komen Maryland. Appointments are preferred, but walk-ins are accepted. The Purse Paparazzi: We absolutely love The Purse Paparazzi’s two custom magazine clutches created in support of breast cancer survivors and co-survivors. Ten percent of the proceeds from the sale of these clutch purses will be donated to Komen Maryland during October 2015.
