Each year, many Americans donate through workplace giving campaigns. Chances are that if you work at a corporation or for the federal government, you’ve had the opportunity to participate in one of these programs. These programs were designed to improve the efficiency of charitable giving and offer benefits that exist for both the donor and the participating charity. A few of the benefits can be the convenience of automatic payroll deduction and some employers match the employee’s contributions. If you would like to choose your Maryland Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure to receive your Workplace Giving donation, following are the appropriate designations for the specific 2009 Workplace Giving Campaigns. THANK YOU! Combined Charity Campaign #5555 Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) # 0405 Eastern Shore Private Sector #72 Southern Maryland Private Sector #72 United Way of Central Maryland # 2094 (can also use name and address only to designate, number not required) Western Maryland Private Sector #72 IRS EIN Numbers For answers to questions about workplace giving contact Lenore Koors through E-mail: lkoors@komenmd.org or call (410) 938-8990. |
