Why: We participate in honor of, in memory of, and in celebration of lives impacted by breast cancer.

Susan G. Komen for the Cure is dedicated to curing breast cancer at every stage - from the causes to the cures, and every moment in between.
At least 25% of net funds are used to support the National Komen Award and Research Grant Program.
Up to 75% stays in the service area to address identified needs through a comprehensive range of direct services.

Come out to kick off breast cancer awareness month for Hard Rock's month long initiative. This year's line up is looking to be the best yet and the deck will be jamming for happy hour. More details coming soon!
Steps to the Cure @ the American Visionary Arts Museum - Friday, October 10th
It is our mission to harness the compassion of a community by developing an original event, a visceral and intellectual experience at the intersection of art, entertainment, and fashion, to raise funds for and awareness of, overlooked educational, social, and health care needs of breast cancer patients in Maryland. Enjoy a fashion show hosted by the winnner of Project Runway, Christian Siriano showcasing local breast cancer survivors with fashions provided by MICA students. Diverse and eclectic foods will be prepared by Baltimore's best chefs as well as Baltimore's own Ace of Cakes, Duff Goldman and the Charm City Cakes designers creating unique cakes to be bid on if you really want desert! We won't leave you empty handed as you leave with an artisan crafted "shoebox" filled with fabulous items. Click here for more information.
