The Maryland Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure and Volunteer Maryland, a program of the Governor’s Office are partnering to recruit a member for their AmeriCorps program. The Volunteer Maryland Coordinator (VMC) will develop and implement a new volunteer program to mobilize community education and outreach speakers to provide basic breast cancer information and inform the public about the work Komen Maryland does across the state.

This is a one-year, full-time commitment as a member of AmeriCorps. The service year offers extensive training, a $13,000 living allowance and a $4,725 post-service education award.
