Komen Maryland gets many requests to be present at events like health fairs as well as for material such as shower cards. Unfortunately, we can not fill all requests. Only requests from Maryland individuals or organizations will be considered.  If outside the state, please look up your closest Komen Affiliate online.
To submit a request, please see our request instructions.
• Please give at least one month lead time for educational material or speaker requests.
• There is a limit of 100 copies of each material, although 100 copies are not guaranteed.

Q: I have breast cancer and need help. Can Komen Maryland help me?
Komen Maryland does not provide direct services, nor can we provide grants to individuals. However, we do fund many programs in the state that can help women and their families. Please see our How to Get Help section or call the office at 410-938-8990 for referrals to local and national programs. Additionally, our Resource Guide for Breast Health and Healing is a good resource for those newly diagnosed.

Q: I want to hold a special fundraising event with the donations or proceeds going to Komen Maryland. Can Komen help me with the event?
Komen Maryland is grateful for the opportunities to work with community organizations and individuals who wish to hold a special event fundraiser to help us with our promise to save lives and end breast cancer forever. We do require that a "Letter of Agreement" (LOA) is completed which outlines the details of the event. The LOA sometimes grants permission to use the Komen name and logos for your event. We may also be able to include your event in one of our communication channels. For guidelines for fundraising events and an application to start the process, please go to our Special 3rd Party Events section.

Q: I have seen cars with Komen Maryland License Plates. How do I get one?
Please see our section in Fundraising for instructions on how to get your very own Komen Maryland license plate. Two checks are requried, one for the MVA and $25 that goes directly to Komen Maryland.

Q: I have a question about the Race and I can't find information on the website. Where can I find Race information?
