During 2010, an estimated 207,090 new cases of invasive breast cancer will occur. A woman is diagnosed with breast cancer at the rate of once every 3 minutes. With events like Race for the Cure®, Susan G. Komen for the Cure® is combating those statistics through research, grants and educational programs.
