Community Grant Programs
Up to 75 percent of net proceeds generated by the Affiliate stay in Maryland and fund local breast cancer education, screening and treatment programs. The remaining 25 percent funds national breast cancer research through Komen National Headquarters, often taking place at Maryland institutions.

Grant Writing Workshops
Each fall, after the release of the RFA, Komen Maryland offers free grant writing workshops to potential applicants.
