Fundraising
Third Party events are our second largest source of fundraising behind the Race for the Cure®. These events can be one day or months long. For additional information and a list of all the ways to get involved, please look over the resources offered on this page.
You may make a contribution to Komen Maryland in memory of or in honor of someone special in your life. A card will be sent to the individual or family at your request acknowledging that a gift has been made by you in their name. You may make an Online Tribute/Memorial contribution here.
You can also mail your contribution with a note telling us who to send a card to acknowledging that a gift has been made by you in their name.

Host a Third-Party Event
Komen Maryland is grateful for the opportunities to work with community organizations and individuals who wish to hold a special event fundraiser to help us with our promise to save lives and end breast cancer forever.
We do require that a "Letter of Agreement" (LOA) is completed which outlines the details of the event. The LOA sometimes grants permission to use the Komen name and logos for your event. We may also be able to include your event in one of our communication channels.
We encourage everyone to please review the Guidelines for fundraising events. These are especially helpful as a planning tool for your event.
When you submit the Application Form we can begin the process for completing the LOA. When the LOA is returned to you for signature, please also complete the education materials request form if applicable to your event.
